What Happens If I Don’t Close My Trade by the End of the Day?
Short answer
On regular trading days, FundedHero Futures automatically closes all open positions at 4:10 PM EST.
Don’t try to force new trades after 4:10 PM EST. Even if the market looks open, pushing orders multiple times can sometimes slip through and lead to a disqualification. Wait for the next session to reopen.
Holidays are different: during early market closures, positions are not closed automatically — managing them is on you. See Holiday hours.
4:10 PM EST is not the reset. Positions are flattened at 4:10 PM EST, but the trading day itself does not turn over until 6:00 PM EST. See the 6:00 PM EST reset.
