Prop firm without a consistency rule: the plans that qualify

Hero ONE 2-Step and Hero ZERO 2-Step have no consistency rule at all, in either phase or on payouts. Hero X has one in the evaluation only, and none once you’re funded. The other plans apply a consistency rule to payouts.

What a consistency rule is

A consistency rule limits how much of your profit can come from one trading day. At FundedHero Futures the test is simple: your best single day’s profit, divided by your total profit, can’t be more than the plan’s limit. Days are measured 6:00 PM to 6:00 PM ET, not by your local calendar.

Where the rule applies to payouts, going over it doesn’t breach your account. Your payout is delayed until your profits are more evenly spread, and once your best day is back within the limit, you can request.

The consistency rule, plan by plan

PlanEvaluationFunded (payouts)What the rules say
Hero ZERO 2-StepNoneNone“There is no consistency rule anywhere on this plan.”
Hero ONE 2-StepNoneNone“There is no limit on how much of your profit can come from a single day on this plan.”
Hero X 1-Step50%NoneIn the evaluation, “no single trading day may make up more than 50% of your total profit.” Funded: “no consistency rule on the funded account.”
Hero ZERO 1-StepNone50%“No consistency rule in the evaluation.” At payout, “no single trading day can make up more than 50% of your total profit at the time you request a payout.”
Hero ONE 1-Step50%, doesn’t fail the account50%In the evaluation, “going over doesn’t fail your account, but you won’t be eligible for a payout until the consistency rule is met.” The same 50% test applies when you request a payout.

2-Step plans: no consistency rule anywhere

Hero ONE 2-Step and Hero ZERO 2-Step are the plans to pick if you want no consistency rule at any stage. One big day can count in full toward your Phase 1 target, your Phase 2 target and your payouts. Here’s what you take on instead:

  • Two phases instead of one, though each can be passed in 1 day.
  • A daily drawdown limit in Phase 2 and on the funded account. Reaching it breaches the account immediately.
  • 3 winning days per payout, each closing at 0.3% of account size or more, plus a payout goal and a minimum and maximum payout per request.

The split is the highest of any plan: 85% on the 1st payout, 90% on the 2nd and 95% on the 3rd. The two plans differ only in the activation fee: Hero ONE charges a one-time fee after you pass, and Hero ZERO doesn’t.

Hero X: a consistency rule in the evaluation only

Hero X applies a 50% consistency rule in the evaluation: no single day can be more than half of your total evaluation profit. In practice, that means your profit target has to be built over at least two days.

Once you’re funded, the rule is gone. There’s no consistency rule and no first payout goal on the Hero X funded account. You need 4 winning days of $150 or more since your last request, then you can request up to your max payout, at a 90% split on every payout. Hero X also has no daily drawdown. See the Hero X plan.

Worked example: one big day on four plans

Say a funded account has $10,000 in total profit, and its best day made $6,000. That day is 60% of the total.

PlanLimitMost one day can count forEffect on a payout request
Hero ONE or ZERO 2-StepNoneNo limitNo consistency check
Hero X (funded)NoneNo limitNo consistency check
Hero ONE or ZERO 1-Step50%$5,000Delayed until total profit reaches $12,000
Hero Live20%$2,000Delayed until total profit reaches $30,000

The delays assume the $6,000 day stays your best day: it fits inside 50% once total profit is $12,000, and inside 20% once it’s $30,000. Every plan’s other payout rules, such as winning days and max payout, still apply.

What still applies without a consistency rule

  • Payout requirements. Winning days, payout goals where the plan has them, and a max payout per request. In your first 30 days funded, total payouts are capped at $2,500.
  • Drawdown. Every plan uses an end-of-day trailing max drawdown, and daily limits apply where the plan has one.
  • Prohibited practices. Rotating evaluations to get around the consistency rule counts as account cycling, which isn’t allowed. Neither are high-risk all-in setups.
  • Review. The Risk Team checks every payout against the full rules, so read the payout guide before you request.

Frequently asked questions

Which FundedHero Futures plans have no consistency rule?

Hero ONE 2-Step and Hero ZERO 2-Step have no consistency rule in either phase or on payouts. Hero X has no consistency rule on the funded account, but applies a 50% rule in the evaluation.

Does Hero X have a consistency rule?

Only in the evaluation, where no single trading day may make up more than 50% of your total profit. The Hero X funded account has no consistency rule.

Does going over the consistency rule fail my account?

On Hero ONE, Hero ZERO and Hero Live, no. It doesn’t breach the account; your payout is delayed until your best day is back within the limit. On the Hero X evaluation, plan to keep every day within 50% of your evaluation profit.

How is the consistency rule calculated?

Divide your best single day’s profit by your total profit. On a 50% plan with $10,000 in total profit, no single day can count for more than $5,000. On Hero Live’s 20% rule, the cap is $2,000.

Do Hero ONE 1-Step and Hero ZERO 1-Step have a consistency rule?

Yes, 50% when you request a payout. Hero ZERO 1-Step has none in the evaluation. Hero ONE 1-Step lists the 50% rule in the evaluation too, but going over it there doesn’t fail the account; it only delays payout eligibility.

Examples are illustrations of how the rules work, not trade recommendations. FundedHero Futures accounts are simulated trading environments for evaluation and education, and payouts depend on following the rules. Rules can change; each plan’s official rules page is the current reference.
